Reading
Reading to your children is the best way to teach them to love reading. There is so much truth to that statement! That is the teacher in me talking! When Ava was a baby, I read to her every night. Now it really bothers her when I skip a night of reading. Bryce is a different story. I have good intentions of reading to him every night, just like Ava. I definitely don't read to him as much as I read to her. This weekend I noticed him spending a lot of time looking at books. Just tonight I watched him look at books for about 15 minutes all by himself. Maybe watching us read to Ava is rubbing off on him? Bryce, Mommy promises to do a better job of reading you stories every night.
