Then....                                    Now

Ava's 5th birthday has been a week long adventure!
It's so hard for me to believe that she is 5 and going to kindergarten this fall!  Where does the time go!  She seems so grown up in certain things she says and understands, but then at other times she still seems so little.
On Wednesday, Braden and I took her out of school and had a special day just Ava, Mommy, and Daddy.  She wanted to go to Bonnie Springs for a pony ride and then go to Chuckie-Cheese for lunch and games.  Later, we picked Bryce up from the babysitter and took her out to dinner at her favorite restaurant...Red Robin.
On Saturday, she had a birthday party at our house with her friends from Ms. Kim's, preschool, and the neighborhood!

She had so many fun things happen that I don't think she could even pick one that she loved the most.   Here are a few snapshots that capture some of the events of her birthday!  Happy birthday my sweet girl!

                                                    Thanks Uncle Andy!

                                  Thanks Aunt Alison!                          Thanks Nana!

So, you can remember how small I was when I was 5 years old!
My favorite pony.  Her name is Butter.

Mommy, Ava, and Daddy on Ava's special birthday.

This deer tried to eat my shirt!

Chuckie and Ava taking a ride for her birthday!  Ava loved to play air hockey!  She's a natural!

Playing water games with her friends at her birthday party.

Yummy Kool-Aid!

Hmmm...who should I pick next for the pinata?
Can she break it open?

Happy birthday to you!
